One evening, as Nico sniffed along a quiet alley, rough hands grabbed him. A bitter old man, known for despising stray animals, locked Nico inside a rusty cage behind his shop. The puppy whimpered, his paws scratching at the bars. The once-bright city lights now seemed distant, his freedom stolen.
Nearby, a kind passerby noticed Nico’s absence. Clues lay hidden around the shop, and only quick thinking could open the cage before the cruel man returned.
