Bartholomew Finch, a naturalist with a passion for wildlife, spent his days documenting the creatures of the Victorian countryside. His latest fascination was a small red squirrel he named Oliver, a lively creature that danced between tree branches in the heart of Ravenwood Forest.
One fateful evening, while Bartholomew sketched by the river, he heard frantic chittering. Peering through the dense foliage, he spotted a ferocious tiger, rare in these parts, cornering poor Oliver near an old oak tree. The tiger’s amber eyes gleamed with hunger, and Oliver trembled, his tiny paws clutching the bark.
Bartholomew knew he had little time. His knowledge of the wilderness would be his greatest weapon. He must devise a clever distraction, solve nature’s riddles, and outwit the beast to rescue the helpless squirrel. Will he succeed before it’s too late?
