Lazaro stepped inside and found dusty books, ticking clocks, and faded portraits. The door slammed shut behind him. He reached for the handle—locked. A warm breeze carried a whisper: “Solve what was left behind.”
Lazaro had always loved riddles. His grandfather, a puzzle master, trained him from age six. Now, he faced his greatest challenge. Clues hid in coffee cups, under chair cushions, behind wallpaper. Each puzzle told a story of lost patrons and secret meetings.
