One evening, as Isolde swooped down to catch a mouse, a rusted metal cage snapped shut around her. A poacher had set a cruel trap, hoping to sell her to collectors. She flapped her wings desperately, but the bars held firm. The stars above slowly faded as dawn crept closer.
Nearby, Seraphin Eldric, a reclusive ornithologist, walked the forest paths. He noticed feathers scattered near an old oak and followed the trail. The cage was locked, but clues lay hidden in the undergrowth. Time was running out.
