He often climbed into cabins, collecting mysterious things left behind by campers. One evening, while exploring an old satchel, he triggered a hidden mechanism that slammed the treehouse door shut.
Ralston’s tiny heart raced. He tried the door, but it wouldn’t budge. His snacks were running low, and night approached fast. He remembered stories from his grandfather, Ruckley, who once escaped a hunter’s trap using wit alone.
Ralston scanned the wooden planks, ropes, and corners for anything that could help. Strange carvings, broken locks, and secret compartments surrounded him. Somewhere in this old hideout, clues waited to be found.
